International Genetics (InGen) is the company that distributes a DNA testing kit for dogs.

This is a fast, easy, do-it-at-home DNA test kit that enables you to test for genetic diseases specific for your breed.

Our test is easy! First, purchase a kit by clicking on the ORDER DNA KIT button to the left of every screen or visit our storefront at shop.ingen.bs.

Our kit has everything you need to quickly take a DNA sample of your pet. Follow the simple directions, take the cheek swab brush and rub against the inside of your pets mouth to collect cheek cells. Take the 2 swab brushes and place them in the enclosed DNA sample envelope. Fill out the Data Form (keep this form for your records) and log onto www.ingen.bs, go to the Customer Portal and follow the instructions. Fill out the profile information online. Then, send your sample back for processing. You will receive an email once we receive your sample back at our facility. In about 30 days, you will receive an email alerting you that the results are ready. Log back on to www.ingen.bs, go to your personal page and pick up the PDF file of the certificate. It could not be simpler. We suggest a high-speed connection to access your certificates easily.

Rick Dobbins is the General Manager for Companion Animal Testing and is in charge of the testing program. Rick lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife, Jill, son Mac and Golden Retriever, Elle. Rick regularly commutes to Freeport to oversee laboratory operations there and manage the program and our team of professionals.

PREMIUM TEST LABORATORIES
InGen has a laboratory located on Grand Bahama Island in Freeport that processes our tests. There are no previous or existing patents issued for PRCD in The Bahamas. This being the case, International Genetics, Inc is not violating any Bahamian or international patent laws by processing the PRCD test. InGen’s lab is located at #8 Town Center Mall, Freeport, The Bahamas.
